The centerpiece of our non-traditional B&B is the stylishly appointed common area with its subtle western elegance. Our historic 1800s backbar is the focal point of this area. Our common area is also includes an extensive library with the history of the region including a 1900s newspaper collection. A wrap-around porch provides opportunity to enjoy a quiet early morning cup of coffee or an peaceful location to watch a brilliant evening sunset.

The prevailing theme of our B&B is relaxation. Yet we understand the inability to completely disconnect from the work-a-day world. To this end we have a business center complete with Wi-Fi, phone, and fax. Located just off the common area, the business center ensures privacy.

While Fort Laramie B&B is easily accessible, we are proud to be off the beaten path. Taking this into consideration, we provide complimentary use of a refrigerator and barbecue grill for anyone not wanting to make the short journey to town for their evening meal. Also check out our meal packages that provide another option in this regard. We also provide complimentary use of a washer and dryer for all your laundry needs.

Here are a few fun things to do at Fort Laramie B&B…

Hiking offers the opportunity for unique interactions with the birds and animals that inhabit the area. There are numerous hills and rock outcroppings to explore along the natural prairie lands. These range from hawks and eagles to deer and antelope.
  • Biking
Numerous area roads provide an expanded opportunity to interact with nature and take in the inspiring Wyoming vistas.
  • Steer-roping
Practice the cowboy arts on our roping dummy. Ropes provided.
  • Horseshoes
Practice your toss on this classic western competition.
  • For the kids
Our wheat box invites kids of all ages to play with shovels, buckets, and toys just as in a traditional sandbox but with an agricultural spin. Kids can also enjoy a game of tether ball or take advantage of the Wyoming wind to fly a kite.

And top off the day relaxing around a crackling campfire!
